A 3D spooned nose provides maximum float and smooth turn initiation, while the subtle pinch at the rear of the sidecut helps it to sink in deep snow. This is the go-to deck for creative mountain surfers like Mat Crepel. Our Surfy CamRock profile is spring-loaded between the feet but extends the nose rocker to help the Alpha mow down bumps and plow through deep snow with ease. The Alpha's spooned nose and pinched-in tail are taken from marine and bird life; they give the board incredible glide and natural float. The core is made from a blend of poplar and paulownia, with carbon inlays at the nose and tail for super lively response.
