Just finished scraping your board or skis and think you're done? Think again my friend - you best be brushing your base to ensure there's no wax left for maximum speed. 

Get brushing. 

The purpose of brushing is to expose the structure of the ski or snowboard base. A properly waxed base with the structure exposed will go faster. Brushes are meant to remove wax and "open" the base.
