The K2 Albany is women’s-specific an all-mountain snowboard binding that is ready for anything in front of your snowboard. Ready for whatever, whenever, the Albany features are most versatile components in our women’s collection and was built for the intermediate to expert level snowboarder. A bit softer flexing than it’s bigger sibling (The Path), the Albany is lightweight, mid-flexing, and features the perfect amounts of both flexibility and response. By utilizing eco-conscious and recycled materials instead of plastics and EVA, we have made significant strides in sustainability. Our manufacturing process relies on over 40% solar-powered energy, and our packaging is FSC certified, utilizing cardboard and recycled paper instead of plastics.

TECHNOLOGY
AM 1:
K2’s new AM1 Highback harnesses the strength and sustainability of the castor bean, and represents a huge step toward our over goal of carbon net-neutrality. All new and feature on the women’s Albany and men’s Edition binding.
MODULE:
Featured on all K2’s new bindings, the Module chassis is composed of a fiberglass infused nylon, and minimizes “dead” board flex zones directly underneath the binding. This in turn allows the rider to feel the flex and response of the entire board length, while providing maximum support, security, comfort, and vibration damping. Intergrated with our all new Sugarcane EVA Canted Harshmellow™ Footbed w/ Pods on every Module chassis.
SINGLE DENSITY ANKLE STRAP:
K2’s new single density ankle strap harnesses the strength and sustainability of the castor bean, and represents a huge step toward our over goal of carbon net-neutrality. All new and feature on the women’s Albany and Network binding, and the men’s Edition and Bond binding.
BETTERWRAP TOE STRAP:
A dual-density toe strap designed to shape to the contour of any snowboard boot – manufactured out of castor-bean based materials.
SIGNATURE ALUMINUM K2 RATCHET:
Aircraft-grade aluminum is used to make the most bombproof ratchets on the market.
FOOTBED:
This Grips Basepad
K2’s proprietary rubber compound, integrated onto the bottom of our Module chassis, provides vibration damping and cushion between board and binding, reducing fatigue and joint impact.
SUGARCANE EVA CANTED HARSHMELLOW W/ PODS:
Derived from scrap native sugarcane raised with minimal impact on rainforests, the footbeds on our Module chassis represent a huge leap toward our goal of carbon net-neutrality. Integrated with K2’s proprietary Harshmellow™ technology, our these eco-conscious footbeds provide grip, cushion, and performance for all day riding in every condition.
MULTI COMPATIBLE MOUNT DISC:
Compatible with our ProFusion™ Chassis, the 4" Multi-mount disc focuses on power transfer and lets you mount your snowboard binding to 4-hole and channel mounts.
MULTIMOUNT:
Featured on the Module™ Chassis, mulitple mount points for the ankle strap on the Module chassis allow for a fine-tuned, custom fit.
FORWARD LEAN BLOCK:
Featured on our FR1 and AM1 highbacks, a traditional forward lean adjustment allow the rider to fine-tune the response of the binding and board.
