The construction of the ski significantly reduces material-based CO2 equivalent emissions by 30% (compared with the Backland 85, 2021) with the use of more poplar wood, less fiberglass and resin, and waste-reducing sidewalls. HRZN 3D – the next generation succeeding original HRZN tech – features a broad, three-dimensional tip to increase float in powder and variable snow for more soulful performance. The All-Terrain Profile uses a natural-wood-to-fiberglass ratio, adding torsional stiffness and an enhanced flex pattern for improved stability on harder snow surfaces.
