Awesome Powder Ski for the Quiver
It was time to replace the Rossignol Super7 HD 188 and after trying a few other Salomon models (98, 106 and Blank - all of which are great soft snow performance and intuitive feel), took a chance and bought the X in 184. It's not a 1 ski quiver killer, but if you're looking for a powder ski - it's great. The suggested mount is a bit more forward, so eventually settled on 1cm back from recommend mount line, and it's working great (when choosing between a forward and traditional mount on most skis, I lean towards traditional mount). Was nervous about the long radius - but it turns on a dime in the trees. Mounted w Shift2 13 - great pairing.
