    Not totally in love

Bought the 2019 version which are identical. They had a nice snug fit in store and walking around at home to break them in a bit.. Until you use them. I found the BOA and the internal lacing would loosen after a few runs with me constantly making adjustments. The snug feeling started to feel too tight and crampy, but when I'd loosen it, there was quite a bit of heel lift for me personally. I put some extra j bars in that seemed to help a bit. Guess it's maybe just not a great fit of a boot for me (sucks because in store it really seemed promising). I do like the stiffness of the boot. The other downside.. I didn't notice at first, but they don't dry/air out well. After each use I'd have to pull out the linings and insoles as they'd be damp and wouldn't quickly dry which was never a problem in my old Salomon Ivy boots. Grip of the soles were good, warmth was okay (might have been better if I realized how damp they were first before rewearing them!). Decent, well made in some respects but I'm not totally in love with them or the fit.
