Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. Actually we at Corbetts.com are the e-commerce and marketing arm of Corbetts Ski + Snowboard Shops.
We have retail locations in Oakville and Barrie, two of the great snow centers in Ontario.
Corbetts in Oakville actually started around 1941, with our founder, Bud Corbett. Bud worked
out of his car in the beginning, circa 1941, as no one can really remember when he
started Corbetts, as it was 70 years ago.
Our next renowned owner, Ken Brown, turned Corbetts from a general sporting goods operation,
to its current form: a specialty SKI, SNOWBOARD,OUTERWEAR and related ACCESSORIES.
Ken loved the ski business so much, he retired in exciting ELLICOTTVILLE NY, but still remains
an advisors at 80 years old.
The family tradition continues, as Kim Brown and Chris Tymstra, have taken over the business,
and made big investments, particularly into the online e-commerce side. Corbetts.com
e-commerce has been operational for over 12 years. You may have seen us evolve from
Action Sports Outlets to ASOGear on EBay and now our revamped Corbetts.com site.
LEGACY
Corbetts rabidly faithful customer base is truly our long lasting legacy for Corbetts overall.
Up to 5 generations of families continue to frequent our stores. We have won the Best Overall
Customer Service, Above and Beyond awards for several years running. A close second in our
legacy story is our vast selection and price. We carry way to much inventory, that you can select
from. Our stores range from Reruns’ new and used equipment, to Corbetts for the next latest and greatest, we have products and prices for all consumers.
